QC Templates
QC templates define the inspection checklist used when conducting quality control inspections. Each template contains a set of checklist items with pass/fail criteria.
Creating a Template
- Go to Quality → Templates
- Click New Template
- Enter template name and description
- Add checklist items:
- Save the template
Severity Levels
| Severity | Impact |
|---|
| Info | Informational only |
|---|---|
| Minor | Defect noted, no hold required |
| Major | Triggers automatic QC hold |
| Critical | Triggers automatic QC hold, requires manager review |
Auto-Hold Rule: Any inspection submitted with Major or Critical defects automatically creates a QC Hold, blocking the affected stock from sale.
Assigning Templates
Templates can be assigned to:
- Product categories — applies to all products in category
- Suppliers — applies to all inbound goods from supplier
- Manual — selected manually during inspection creation
