Manage stock holds and release or reject held inventory

QC Holds
QC Holds block inventory from being sold, picked, or transferred while quality issues are investigated.
How Holds Work
When a QC Hold is active on a product:
- Quantity on Hold is subtracted from available stock
- The stock cannot be allocated to orders
- The hold appears in Stock Levels as "On Hold"
Managing Holds
Go to Quality → Holds to see all active and resolved holds.
Releasing a Hold
- Open the hold
- Review inspection findings
- Click Release — stock returns to available inventory
Rejecting a Hold
- Open the hold
- Click Reject — stock is written off or marked for disposal
- Add a rejection reason
