SmartWMS supports barcode scanning in all major workflows — receiving, picking, cycle counting, and putaway.
Scanning Methods
#### Camera Scanner
- Tap the camera icon on any scan input field
- Point your device camera at the barcode or QR code
- The app auto-detects and processes the scan
- Connect a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner
- The scanner appears as a keyboard input
- Scan directly into any active input field — no setup needed
- SmartWMS detects scanner input by speed (faster than human typing)

Scan Workflows

Troubleshooting
- Scanner not detected: ensure scanner is in HID (keyboard) mode
- Camera not working: grant camera permission in browser settings
- Wrong product matched: check that product has correct barcode registered in Products → Edit
