Monitor and respond to IoT alert conditions

IoT Alerts
Alerts notify you when sensor readings exceed thresholds or devices go offline.
Alert Types
| Type | Trigger |
|---|
| Threshold Exceeded | Sensor reading above max or below min |
|---|---|
| Device Offline | No heartbeat for > 5 minutes |
| Device Online | Device reconnected after offline period |
Managing Alerts
Go to IoT → Alerts to see all active and historical alerts.
Each alert shows:
- Device and sensor name
- Trigger condition and value at time of alert
- Timestamp
- Acknowledgment status
Acknowledging an Alert
- Open the alert
- Click Acknowledge — adds your name and timestamp
- Add a note (optional) — e.g., "Investigated, compressor restarted"
Resolving an Alert
Click Resolve when the issue is fixed. Resolved alerts are kept in history for audit purposes.
Alert Rules
Configure alert rules per sensor in IoT → Devices → [Device] → Sensors:
- Set thresholds (min, max)
- Enable/disable notification per rule
